Engine 1 Teardown

I've acquired a junk-yard engine to use for engine mount mock-ups. This engine was removed from a junked car at a 'Pick and Pull' in San Jose. I won't be flying behind this engine - but everything turned out to be within 'new' tolerances even after 100K miles and 2 years in a junk yard.

This engine will be reassembled with only the case, crankshaft and cylinder heads:
